Paddy & Jen Adventures

Paddy and I are back on the road and really excited to be travelling again. We were home with family for the last 2 months of 2024 which was lovely, but we are ready to settle back in to our home (van) and to continue to explore our beautiful country. Our plan is to travel indefinitely until we are ready to settle back in Melbourne. We are just going to see where life takes us.

We definitely will miss our family (and friends) but we are just doing what we tell them to do – live your best lives.

Just before we took off our son Tom and his partner Sarah got engaged. Such exciting news for our family. This means we will be flying back to Melbourne for an engagement party in 2025 and a wedding in 2026!!

Our first stop is in Robe, South Australia. Our fifth time here. We love it (that is if the wind stays away, which is rare). We arrived on Saturday 11th January and so far the weather has been beautiful. We are staying at the gorgeous Robe Holiday Park, which suits us as we love a bush setting and it’s not too far away from the bustling little town of Robe.

You can drive your car on the beach (Long Beach), set up and have a swim. That’s why we need the weather to be good!

I started my day today with 10 mins of mindfulness. This is just purely not looking at a phone or iPad and eating my breakfast taking in the surroundings. It’s amazing the birds you see and the sounds you hear. Now we are off to the beach to enjoy this glorious sunshine.
