Robe/Limestone Coast

We have been very lucky with the weather and have spent the last 3 days lazing on the beach. Today is more like the Robe we have experienced on previous visits – rained overnight and very windy and cool today. Please don’t be put off, this divine coastal town is too beautiful not to come here for a visit. The change in weather meant Paddy has made it a work day. I took the opportunity to hit the shops, although living in a caravan means I can’t really buy anything. It is fun to have a look around regardless. Good way to meet the locals!

We both love reading books and van life gives you the space to do that. I have shared a photo of the book I am reading at the moment called “The Let Them Theory” by Mel Robbins. I highly recommend it. I heard about this theory about a year ago and I have really been trying to put this in to practice in my daily life. It is working wonders for me and I think you would all like it too. I don’t always abide by it (I am not perfect) but when I do it is so freeing. It is about not trying to control other people and recognising others will always have an opinion and no amount of stressing will change this. It is well worth a read (or just google the Let Them Theory) if you feel you want to stop chasing the approval of others, or stop managing other people’s happiness and/or let others opinions hold you back. Great to apply the “Let Them” theory to any part of your life, whether it be work, family or personal relationships. I think about how much energy I have wasted in my life trying to please others and have come to realise the importance of allowing myself the space to Let Me be me.

What a great perspective to embrace in 2025 – Let Them/Let Me. Give it a go!
